Delaware Statistics

Other than speeding, running red lights is one of the most common moving violations in Delaware. In Wilmington alone, over 25,000 people were ticketed after being caught by a Delaware intersection camera in just a year’s time – and the vast majority of intersections don’t even have cameras. Over the past seven years, since the cameras were introduced, the city of Wilmington has issued over 123,000 red light tickets. However, introduction of such cameras has shown a drop in tickets of around 60% - 70% across the state.
