Delaware Motorcycle Insurance
Motorcycle are considered vehicles too, and in Delaware, it is
illegal to drive a motorcycle without Delaware motorcycle insurance.
You are required to carry the same 15/30/10 insurance for your
motorcycle as you would for another type of vehicle.
However, most Delaware auto insurance companies handle motorcycle
insurance a bit differently, especially with PIP coverage. Instead of a
typical deductible, they’ll offer $15,000 of protection with a $15,000
deductible – which means, in short, that you have no PIP coverage. This
is due to the high risk of injury with motorcycle accidents. So, you’ll
be legal in terms of insurance, but you won’t be protected. Before you
buy any kind of Delaware motorcycle insurance, check out all of your
options.
